Messiah Of The Wounded Souls 73

I know she keeps that box, She has chained it with a rusty iron lock Ironic isn’t it. Her collector’s pride Prejudiced Cropped wings hidden in a dark corner A bag full of frozen tears A monolithic heart and few broken dreams Coated with shreds of her torn innocence. Wrapped in the memories of a murky shadow That touched her childhood. Reminiscence of her broken spirit And a juvenile ache- piled along with shame, guilt and misgiving Her so called dirty little secret She keeps it all in that box And carries it on her shoulder Like Christ – who carried a cross of sins Of those he trusted once. She too is a fallen angel A Messiah of the wounded souls   Child Sexual Abuse is most heinous crime that could ever happen to any child and yet no one talks about it. It is shoved under the rug. It happens everywhere in all countries and all kinds of societies.

The silence is deafening. At Secrets of Womanhood we chose to be brave and shatter this silence. We voiced it out –loudly and boldly. Let’s give voice to children and survivors. Come and be the part of movement with us this Sunday 11 am only on Secrets of Womanhood. Don’t miss it.   By- Vani Khare…
